■ What is Air-fix?
A vacuum suction type fixture that can fix the work at any position when using Mitutoyo's Eco-fix on a coordinate measuring machine or stone surface plate. It is firmly adsorbed on the surface plate just by supplying compressed air.
Adsorption to stone surface plates and ceramic surface plates, which is not possible with magnet fixtures, is possible. (It does not depend on the material of the surface plate.)
Even during suction, it can be easily moved and attached by simply pressing the exhaust port with your fingers.
No vacuum pump is required and suctions easily. It exerts a strong suction force by evacuating through a small vacuum generator (ejector) using compressed air from a compressor that is found in every factory. It can be fixed / sucked freely, and can be easily sucked / opened by pressing the exhaust port with your fingers.
If you place the magnet stand you already have on the Air-fix 22B1, you can use it immediately on a stone surface plate, ceramic surface plate, etc.

New lineup added to the OZUMA series of high precision non-contact thickness measurement devices (non-contact thickness measurement devices) for semiconductor wafers (Si silicon wafers, GaAs, gallium arsenide Ga), arsenic (As), glass, metals, etc. Non-contact thickness measurement device OZUMA CL is used to control the thickness in the backside polishing process for semiconductor wafers (Si silicon wafer ・ GaAs ・ gallium (Ga) arsenic (As)) etc. The manufacturing process resolution is 0.01 μm. There is no concern that a probe etc. will put kids on the object to be measured because it is a non-laser contact method. I can do it. It is not easily affected by the thickness and can accurately measure the thickness.

OZUMA, a high-precision non-contact thickness measuring device for semiconductors wafers (Si:silicon wafer, GaAs:gallium arsenide), glasses, metals etc., has been renewed. The non-contact thickness measuring device OZUMA 22 is used for thickness control in the back surface polishing process of a semiconductor wafer (Si:silicon wafer ,GaAs: gallium arsenic ) .
It can be used for noncontact measurement as management.

Since it is a non-contact type of air back pressure measurement, there is no worry that a probe will scratch the object to be measured. Since it is a non-contact type, it can measure thickness, warp, parallelism, etc. repeatedly as many times as the same object to be measured. Thickness can be accurately measured because it is difficult to be influenced by the lifting due to warp of the object to be measured because it is measured with the upper and lower measuring nozzles. Since it is an air backpressure measuring method, it can measure accurately even in wet condition. In addition, there is no dependence on materials such as filming and coloring, so you can easily measure the thickness without contact. Non-contact thickness measurement is possible without problem even mirror surface, transparent and semi-transparent. It is also possible to replace the laser head or spectroscopic interferometer on the OZUMA 22.

Vacuum suction tool stand is the world's first powerful vacuum suction type tool stand developed under license from Mitutoyo Corporation [Mitutoyo patent [4616563]). Although the conventional magnet type tool stand (magnet stand) is limited to use on an iron platen, it can also be applied to stone and ceramic platens with vacuum suction tool stand.

A large and heavy tool stand is used for measurement on a stone plate where a magnet stand can not be used, and workability of accuracy measurement is bad. However, the vacuum suction tool stand was small and lightweight, greatly improving workability. Vacuum pump is unnecessary and easy adsorption. It uses a compressed air from any compressor in any factory and uses a compact vacuum generator (ejector) to evacuate it, thereby exerting powerful adsorption power. Fixing / adsorption can be done freely, and if you hold down the ejector it can be easily adsorbed / released.

If you already have your magnet stand on a vacuum chucking tool stand, you can use it immediately on a stone table, ceramic platen, etc. For the development of this vacuum suction tool stand, we got the advice from retiree Kimura master of Mitutoyo Co., Ltd., inventor of the patent, and finally commercialized it. "Mr. Non-Contact" is a non-contact handling device to transport silicon wafers and glasses. As you can see the above video, the acrylic board and the yellow round board are not in contact. Air is sandwiched between them and is conveyed in a floating state.

We apply fluid dynamics by Bernoulli's theorem and we will do non-contact handling by the action of squirting air.
